Who Are We?
We are a newly-formed neighborhood organization called SAGE-SC Neighbors - an affiliate of Santa Cruz Neighbors. Our organization represents the neighborhood that is bordered by Highway 1, Western Drive, Grandview, Arroyo Seco, Beachview, Escalona, Crespi and Serra Courts (approximately 700 separate households)
Why Are We Organizing?
The recent increase in gang terrorism in our neighborhood and throughout the city, along with the tragic murders of two young men, have mobilized us into taking action.
What Are Our Goals?
- Create a strong community network in our neighborhood to prevent future criminal activities and acts of violence.
- Create a forum for neighbors to communicate with each other regarding issues that are unique to our neighborhood.
- Organize events where we can relax and have fun!
What Can We All Do?
Get involved and know your neighbors. Communicate with each other and the police in the event of crimes, emergencies, suspicious activities or threats.
