December 12, 2011 - Pit Bull attack on Grandview.
This Monday afternoon, a friendly neighborhood dog on a leash was attacked by a stocky grey colored, unleashed, collarless pit bull. The owner of the injured dog was also hurt trying to pull her dog away from the Pit Bull. The incident occured on the lawns in front of the apartnement complex which runs along Grandview and Swift.
People at the condo complex came out to see what was going on and offer assistance. A nice couple who stopped and left their car door open to shelter the injured dog. Immediately after that, the Pit Bull ran off after a different dog in the area who was also on a leash.
